Select your role below for a step-by-step walkthrough of the platform features and workflow.
Attorney Role
As an attorney, you own the legal review and approval chain. You can manage employer clients, review job descriptions, approve milestones, oversee recruitment review, and sign off before PERM filing.
View all cases
The Recruitment Cases list shows all PERM and GC cases tied to your firm. Use filters to sort by stage, employer, or case number. Click any case to open the detail view.
Case stages
Cases flow through: Draft → Legal Review → Invoice → Payment → Final Approval → Publishing → Proofs Upload → Recruitment Review → PERM Filed → Completed. Your key gates are Legal Review, Final Approval, and Recruitment Review.
Legal Review
In the Draft stage, review the AI-generated job description and abbreviated newspaper version. Check the Compliance Risk score (green = safe, red = must revise). Approve to advance to Invoice.
Final Approval
After the employer pays, you give Final Approval in the Publish & Proof tab. This unlocks the advertising phase and authorizes the ad agency to begin placement.
Review AI-abbreviated text
In the Ad Text tab, switch between Radio (full text), Newspaper (AI-shortened), and Online Job Board versions. The Compliance Risk chip shows risk level — click it to open the full report with flags, suggestions, and PERM rule checks.
Show Preview
Click "Show Preview" (animated border button) to see the ad template with PWD fields highlighted. Yellow = template, teal = PWD field, red = missing field.
Save changes
If you edit the newspaper or online text, click "Save Newspaper" or "Save Online" to persist changes before advancing.
What triggers Recruitment Review
After all advertising proofs are uploaded, the case advances to Recruitment Review. You will see an action item in the Applicants tab.
Review applicants
Open the Applicants tab and verify: every applicant has been contacted, every rejection has a lawful DOL-recognized reason, and all records are finalized (locked).
Approve recruitment review
Once all applicants are finalized, use the Approve Recruitment Review button to advance the case to PERM Filed. This action is logged and timestamped.
Case Timeline
The Timeline tab shows a Gantt view of all recruitment steps with auto-computed dates: first recruit date, quiet period, filing window start/end, and 180-day deadline (red dotted line).
Calendar view
The Calendar page shows all upcoming task due dates across all your cases. Tasks are filtered by your attorney role — you see attorney-assigned tasks (SWA Portal, final reviews).
Sync to Outlook / Google Calendar
Click the "Sync" button on the Calendar page to get your personal iCal feed URL. Copy the URL and add it to your calendar app: • Outlook: File → Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New → Paste URL • Google Calendar: Settings → Add calendar → From URL → Paste URL • Apple Calendar: File → New Calendar Subscription → Paste URL Your tasks will auto-sync every few hours. New tasks, date changes, and completions update automatically.
Task alerts
Enable email alerts in Settings → Notifications. You will receive a daily digest of any overdue tasks across your active cases.
Add employers
Go to Employers and click Add Employer. You can create an employer user account and link it to your attorney profile. The employer will receive login credentials.
View employer activity
The Activity tab in each case shows a full log of all actions taken by all parties — useful for audit trail review.
